Important Installation Note:
There is a two prong tab on the alternator pulley that engages with the groove on the crankshaft. This attachment should be bonded when torquing the pulley bolt to avoid damage to the hall effect ignition sensor.
Verify that your rotor pulley is aligned correctly with the crankshaft before installing the hall effect sensor.
If the installation of the hall sensor is done with the rotor misaligned you could destroy the sensor, when attempting start it.
Take care not to bend the locating tab on the rotor.
Ensure the rotor is properly located back into the slot on the end of the crank shaft.
